Behind the door by Pierre-Lagarde Behind the door by Pierre-Lagarde
Somewhere in the center of Nantes
Was shot from the holes in the front door (you can see their form on the right bottom of the picture.
The old buildings are not straight here so if you see some non horizontal or vertical lines, I ensure it's because of that ;) !
Camera : Canon S90

I love this for its composition, timelessness and those lovely deep blacks. It is especially good for a compact.

Thanks my friend ! I must say it has been a hard work to find the right exposure effect to bring this to wallpaper usage. Initially this picture, "stolen" with a compact camera through one of door holes (you can see the shadow of the wooden grid on the bottom right of the picture in the dark part), was mainly yellow. It turns better in black and white and gives a better idea of what the mood is in this place, I think. I love "stolen" pictures, they are full of surprises ! :)
