Thanks a lot mate ! Well, it must be revamped on windows as the script only works on Linux, but yes walls can be used in the dynamic windows desktop too ! ;)

it can be made a HD video and used as dreamscene with a patch on windows 7 ;P
or on xp by making it a webpage that rotates the images so it is possible on windows too xD

For sure, I used that too, one of my previous animated BG was adapted to dreamscene by a fellow here (though I don't find it anymore by now ;) ).
For the webpage under XP, I never used it cause I prefer the standard desktop behavior, but yes it can be done for sure. Do you know if there are any samples of that kind of submissions here on dA ?

I love the idea and this preview. It is some time ago I installed your LWBTC animated wallpaper (speed version) and in about 10 minutes my RAM and swap were already overloaded. For my Spaceview animated wall I searched for a solution but I haven't found a way for this problem. Is there a solution or how we can circumvent the memory hungry? I'm working also on a new wall pack and I would really like to animate it.

Well, I think only the speed demo has the problem by now. I've tested the standard install and install_saving_cpu scripts and it works like a charm. Have you tested those (are they in your pack ?).
Anyway, there will packs of 4 walls for each size that can be used statically too. ;)
Thanks Lars ;)!

All versions has this problem... just not so important. The other versions (including mine) will take longer to fill the memory. It would be nice if there would be a viable solution. We could conjure great animations on our desktops. :)

I must do some further tests, but actually it seems I haven't got that memory problem on Debian Squeeze with current Gnome version (I can't check the version right now, I'm at work on a Lenny/KDE 3.5 ;)).
Anyway, i think you're right that this tool must be enhanced at least for the cpu usage. It seems all OS's have the same issue (Mac OS or Windows) with there own version of animated BG, Probably all development teams consider this as a very useless feature ;) !

Other point : can you answer to my note about submissions in Linux-Lounge group, cause it seems they can't reproduce the case ! So, perhaps it's ok by now ? Would be cool if you confirm Lars ! Thanks for your time anyway, of couse :D !

Oui, mais y'a du boulot derrière, surtout si je dois faire toutes les tailles pour les 4 walls qui constituent le pack... faut que je m'organise ;) ! Merci Vito !

That's just awesome :D
I was using the speed demo, and it is stunning. It uses 15% of my cpu tho ^^

That's why it's only a demo ;) !
I found it was specifically adapted to that kind of wall as it looks like it's already moving without any animation :D !
Thanks my friend I'm very glad you liked it :D !
